The never-ending construction and improvements on the Amsterdam port and the eastern islands provide new silhouettes and continuous inspirations.
I regularly work at our holiday house on Terschelling island, by the dunes. I particularly enjoy capturing the wide island scapes in the spring and the autumn.
The invitation to spend a month on Hirado fulfilled a cherished wish of mine to experience Japan. There I had the chance to hold workshops and painting classes.
